برندگان جوایز «بفتا» 2018
«سه بیلبورد در حوالی ابینگ، میزوری» با کسب پنج جایزه بهترین فیلم، بهترین فیلم بریتانیایی، بهترین فیلمنامه اوریجینال (مارتین مک‌دونا)، بهترین بازیگر زن (فرانسیس مک‌دورماند)، و بهترین بازیگر مرد نقش مکمل (سم راکول)، در جوایز بفتا 2018 یکه‌تازی کرد. اگرچه فیلم «سه بیلبورد» با تصاحب این جوایز شانس اول کسب اسکار در ماه آینده به شمار می‌آید اما نباید از یاد برد که «لالالند»، «پسرانگی»، و «بازگشته» همگی فیلم‌هایی بودند که در سه سال اخیر برنده بفتا شدند ولی چند هفته بعد مورد توجه آکادمی قرار نگرفتند.
امسال فیلم «شکل آب» دل تورو هم سه جایزه از جمله بهترین کارگردانی، طراحی صحنه، موسیقی متن را به خانه برد. شش فیلم «لیدی برد»، «لیدی مک‌بث»، «جنگ ستارگان: آخرین جدای»، «مرگ استالین»، «پدینگتون 2» و «برو بیرون» که در چند شاخه نامزد شده بودند، از دریافت جایزه محروم ماندند.
